NCCGB Junior Choirs

The NCCGB Junior Choir consists of three groups:

Yellow Choir  – children aged 9-11
Blue Choir age  – children aged 12-15
Green (Main) Choir – children aged 12-15

When a child enters NCCGB he or she will join either the Yellow, Blue or Green Choir.  A child may not become a member of the Green Choir until he or she is at least 12, and entry will depend on a number of factors including musicianship, maturity and choral discipline. For current Yellow and Blue Choir members, this will be assessed during the summer course each year, in readiness for the following Easter’s course.

Each choir will work as an independent entity, but the choirs will also perform some pieces together. In each choir there will be musical challenges commensurate with the members’ ability.
