Pastoral Carer

Charlie is reading Music at the University of Manchester. He attended Pocklington School and sang with the school Chamber Choir. He is a founder member and choral leader for the bass section of the Yorkshire Youth Choir, was a soloist on their 2008 tour of Italy and in January 2011 sang with the Yorkshire Youth Choir on their recording for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Charlie hopes to apply for a postgraduate degree in conducting and/or performance with a view to becoming a singing teacher and choral conductor.

Charlie is also a keen rugby and cricket player and works behind the bar at the Stretford Suite at Old Trafford Football Ground. He has been working as a Pastoral Carer for the National Children’s Choir since April 2010.
