Elizabeth (Lizzie) works full time as a singing and piano teacher and conductor in schools and privately within Hampshire and Dorset. Having gained a first class degree in music from the University of York, Lizzie then went on to study as a Speech and Language Therapist in London. Lizzie performs regularly across the South of England with chamber ensembles including the vocal trio Beata; Enchantée – a voice, flute and piano trio; and two professional chamber choirs, Lauda and Celestial Sirens.
Her most recent solo appearances have been in performances of Fauré’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria. Having been a founder choir member of the NCC and then a regular member of the NYC, Lizzie joined the National Children’s Choir staff team as a singing teacher in Spring 2006 and thoroughly enjoys her time on the courses.
