Like many other organisations, the pandemic forced us to move our Easter 2021 course online. Our staff and choristers more than rose to the challenge and we had a really successful week, with a lot of fun and music making. We enjoyed a mixture of choir rehearsals, singing lessons and recreation sessions. We continued with some of our NCC traditions, such as Film Night, the NCC Quiz and our Cabaret night and our Junior Choirs worked hard to earn family points across the week.

We were lucky enough to be visited by professional musicians, Will Todd, Anders Eden Roth and James McKeon, who shared their knowledge and enthusiasm with us.

Our Easter online course in stats:

  • 177 Choristers
  • 4 Choirs
  • 26 members of staff
  • 177 singing lessons
  • 60 choir rehearsals
  • 3 workshops/talks
  • 23 recreation sessions
  • and 1458 family points earned!

Our choirs worked hard to each produce a recording, which have been compiled into  virtual choir recordings.

These showcase how talented our young people are, and can be viewed here. We are proud that they have achieved so much in what has been a very difficult year for everyone.
