DONATING TO NCCGB
We are grateful for the support we receive from individuals and organisations to help us maintain the funds and activities below. We hope to increase the provision for all these in the future.
Donations of any size can be added to our bursary fund and used to support choir members whose circumstances might otherwise prevent them taking up their NCCGB membership. The fund also provides emergency financial assistance to choir members who need it to enable them to attend courses.
Donors may prefer to sponsor the course fees for an individual choir member. This is done through the bursary application system, and the sponsorship is awarded to the candidate most in need of it; either for a single year or for the number of years proposed by the sponsor.
RE:SOUND WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
We aim to engage with as many young people as possible throughout the UK, and our Re:Sound workshops allow us to do this. Sponsoring a workshop is a way to bring music to the wider community and make young singers aware of the opportunities available in NCCGB.
NCCGB offers internships to musicians who wish to develop their choral conducting skills by observing the work of experienced professional musicians. There is no charge for an internship but some interns need help with the accommodation and travel expenses involved, and these costs can be supported by sponsorship.
NCCGB SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
In 2018 we introduced the NCCGB scholarship, which recognises both choral excellence and the potential of the scholar to be a role model for other choir members. We hope to extend the programme and award more scholarships in the future.
If you are interested in being involved in supporting any of the above events please contact the Choir Chief Executive Nicole O’Donnell Tel: 07894021279 or email [email protected]
