NCCGB Bursary Scheme
The NCCGB bursary scheme exists to help participants who find it difficult to meet the costs of our course fees. The NCCGB bursary scheme is open to choir members with a net household income of £35,000 or less.
We have limited bursary funds, so we must carry out due diligence and prioritise applications requiring greatest need. We award bursaries of between 5% and 100% of the course fees depending upon the applications that we receive within each cycle and the limited bursary funds we have available.
Each case will be assessed individually. Evidence will be required from applicants to assess an application. All applications are treated in the strictest confidence. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Applicants are strongly advised to seek support via info@nccgb.com ahead of submission if they are unsure of how to complete the application.
Choir members will be sent details on how to apply for a bursary once they have joined the choir.
Other sources of funding
If you need additional funding, we are aware of the following organsiations:

Charitable Trust Providing Grants For Music Study | The Wrightson Trust
Community Foundations – many counties in England have a Community Foundation which have grant schemes. Some, but not all, have schemes for young people/individuals. Please contact us if you would like to know if your local Community Foundation has an appropriate scheme.
