We accept new choir members from the age of 9; that is, boys and girls who would be at least 9 years old when they join their first Easter course. We expect choir members to attend every course, unless there is an unusual event, for example a family wedding; new choir members must be available to attend the Easter course following audition.

Our auditions

For an audition, candidates will be asked to perform one song from memory, with piano accompaniment provided by an NCCGB pianist; the performance should take no more than 3 minutes.  They will also do some aural tests including musical memory tests, singing chords and sight singing.  Including time to warm up with the pianist, the audition will take 30 minutes.
