VoiceLab: Let’s Get Creative
Discover your voice, explore what it can do and make some musical experiments
The Let's Get Creative workshop is for children in years 4-7.
Led by expert practitioners from the National Children's Choir of Great Britain, this fun and engaging session looks at the voice and all the amazing things it can do.
The workshop focuses on:
Exploring and experimenting with the voice and body as an instrument.
Developing an understanding of how the voice works, including finding the high and low parts of the vocal range.
An introduction to improvisation and composition, including solo singing.
Giving children the opportunity to express themselves, leading to developing their confidence, musical decisions and ownership of their music-making.
At the end of our visit, your school will be provided with a resource pack of songs and warm ups covered in the workshop.
