On Katharine, The Duchess of Kent’s 91st Birthday, we are delighted to announce a ground-breaking partnership with Future Talent.
As the Founder and a Trustee of Future Talent and a dedicated Patron of NCCGB, The Duchess of Kent has long championed the cause of providing access to musical education for young talents across the UK.
Our partnership with Future Talent will jointly offer a new bursary award to talented young singers from low-income households, enabling them to participate in our residentials during the Easter and Summer school holidays.
The recipients of the bursary will also be part of the opportunities offered by both organisations, including performances, workshops, masterclasses, and recordings.
On this special occasion, our partnership announcement is in tribute to The Duchess of Kent’s lifelong dedication to the arts and her vision of providing equal opportunities for young musical talent to flourish.
Katharine, Duchess of Kent said: “I am truly delighted to witness the union of Future Talent and the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain in this important endeavour. This partnership embodies the spirit of inclusivity and accessibility, with a shared commitment to nurturing the musical talents of the future.”
Applications are now open for the NCCGB Future Talent Bursary in 2024-5. Visit www.futuretalent.org/join to find out more and apply. Closing date: 17 April 2024.
